MBBS degree from College/University recognized by Medical Council of India with two years R&D/Teaching Experience.
(i) Additional Post-Doctoral degree with (MD/MS/DNB) research / teaching experience in the relevant subjects (Medicine / Surgery / Pediatrics / Community medicine, Radiotherapy, Pathology, Gynae and Obs Family medicine and other related) in recognized institute(s);
(ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications / Data management
(iii) Training in Public health / Epidemiology / research methodology
(iv) Post Graduate Qualification in Epidemiology or Public Health (MAE / MPH /MSc / Ph. D etc.) or 2 years’ experience in cancer or other NCD Epidemiology/Health Programme etc.

(d) Experience certificates/testimonials
(e) List of Publications mentioning clearly the ‘Name of the Journal’ and ‘Impact Factor’
(f) One-self attested recent passport size photograph
(g) ID Proof (Ex. PAN/Voter ID/Driving License etc.)
(h) One set of self-attested photocopies of all documents

METHOD OF SELECTION:
Selection for above posts will be through a Written Test and Personal Discussion/Interview.
ICMR – NCDIR reserves the right to:
(i) Fix criteria for screening the applications so as to limit the number of candidates to be called for written test/interview. Mere
fulfilling the essential qualification and requisite experience by the candidate does not confer any right to be called for
(ii) Increase/decrease the number of vacancies.
(iii) Frame the panel for filling up future vacancies arising during the tenability of panel which is normally operative for one
(iv) Fill up or not to fill up any of the advertised positions.
The written test would be of 100 marks consisting of 100 objective/ MCQ type questions of one mark each for the correct
answer. The final score will be computed for a maximum of 40 marks based on the marks obtained in the written test of 100 marks. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Out of 100 questions, 90 questions will be objective/ MCQ type and 10 objective/ MCQ for analytical skills.
